Writing on Twitter, Everton have dropped a cryptic three-word message surrounding midfielder Allan and his comeback from injury – with the club simply stating ‘not long now‘ as he is expected to make his return next week.
Posting two snapshots of the Brazilian in training, the Toffees have teased his pending comeback for manager Carlo Ancelotti and Everton after he was forced off during a 2-0 win at Leicester City in mid-December.
The 30-year-old was in fine form before his lengthy absence, with Allan missing the whole of January as a result of his injury.
However, in a great bit of news for supporters, it appears he will be making an imminent return – with Everton teasing the three-word message ‘not long now’.

He should be ready to feature from next week (Everton official), gifting Ancelotti and co a real boost as they aim to qualify for Europe at the end of the season.
This comes as they cope with an injury to top scorer and arguable star man Dominic Calvert-Lewin, despite it not being as serious as first feared according to Ancelotti (Sky Sports), Toffees supporters may be comforted by the fact that Allan could soon return.
When exactly he will be ready to start again remains to be seen, but Everton will be hoping to have their enforcer back and ready for action in the imminent future.
