Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha would be a great signing for Everton and would complement the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison nicely, says former Premier League striker Dean Windass.

Zaha is being linked with a move to Goodison Park, with Goal reporting last month that the Merseyside club are keen on the winger.

Tottenham are also said to be interested in Zaha and any potential deal could cost up to £40m, according to the same outlet.

It means the transfer could be a difficult one to pull off, but if Everton can get it over the line, Windass believes it will be worth it.

Speaking exclusively to TT about the Toffees' reported interest in the player, the ex-Hull City star said:

"I think that'd be a great signing for Everton football club, whoever is their manager. I'm sure Zaha would love to play at Goodison.

"With Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison, you know, what a front three that would be if they're all playing next year."

In the season that has just gone, Calvert-Lewin (16) was the only Everton player to score more Premier League goals than Zaha (11).

The Ivory Coast international also averaged 1.8 dribbles per league game, an average only Richarlison can match (via WhoScored), so he is certainly an individual who looks capable of giving this Everton attack a boost.
