Speaking in his pre-game press conference before their match away at Aston Villa, Carlo Ancelotti said (via @EvertonNewsFeed): “He scored a goal, and I’m surprised nobody knew this. I didn’t see this. I don’t think VAR was in the stadium. Imagine if West Ham scored a goal, it was a huge mistake, it cannot happen with VAR!”

“You could really tell Carlo was enraged about it today, too right. How on earth have they not seen this? If King waves his arms in the air calling for it it gets given”
“Red card and a penalty should’ve been given. We are Everton though”
“Truly astounding. Thankfully didn’t cost us. Feel a little bad for King though. His first goal literally stolen from him.”
“Wait what?? I completely missed this on the night. Kept that quiet on commentary didn’t they”
“Mad that like hahaha cant believe this wasn’t given”
