Some Everton fans have been left fuming as some manager news emerged involving Roger Schmidt.
As per SportBILD (via Sport Witness), both the Goodison Park faithful, as well as Tottenham Hotspur, have 'recently' made 'enquiries' over the PSV manager's availability, who is looking to leave in the summer.
They are 'settled' on Rafa Benitez, but more bad results on top of them losing their last three games in the Premier League could mean a decision may have to be made.
Whether Schmidt would actually be an upgrade on Benitez is another question, as he has no prior experience of managing in English football, while this season has not gone as well as he would have hoped, being thrashed 5-0 by their biggest Eredivisie rivals Ajax and in danger of not qualifying from their UEFA Europa League group.
Nonetheless, Benitez has not been in the job long enough to have his future questioned, especially if Schmidt is considered to be his replacement.

These Toffees fumed as the news was shared on Twitter, with one Blues supporter even going as far as to claim that Schmidt would be a 'dreadful' appointment:
