Many Everton fans have been left gushing as an update emerged from the Goodison Park faithful on their official website.

Season Ticket Members at the Merseyside club will now be able to resell tickets for matches that they cannot attend during the 2021/22 season.

This will replace the third-party resale platform, StubHub, which was used by supporters and provided by the former official partner between 2012-2020.

While there is still uncertainty over how many fans will be allowed to enter stadiums in the upcoming campaign due to the impact of the global pandemic, this scheme certainly gives Toffees assurances and an opportunity to get some money back if for whatever reason they are unable to attend a game.

Thus, it is not a surprise at all to see so many supporters happy with the news.
