Everton are reportedly eyeing up moves in the January transfer window for Spurs stars Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Paulo Gazzaniga, according to Football Insider.
As per the news outlet, the Goodison Park faithful are expected to be active in the new year even with a restricted budget due to the heavy spending in the summer window.
Should Everton sign Alli?
A source from the Merseyside club has said that the Toffees are preparing to keep close tabs on the Tottenham Hotspur trio as all three players could be available on a loan deal.
Alli, Winks and Gazzaniga all have their merits
Alli, Winks and Gazzaniga all have their merits, and considering that the total of each of their market values adds up to over £75m, potentially getting two or all of them on loan deals for small fees could prove to be good business by Carlo Ancelotti’s team.
There is no doubt that Alli can be a world-class player on his day, as his former boss in Mauricio Pochettino even compared him to the legendary Ronaldinho earlier this month.
The England international has reached double figures in terms of goals or assists no fewer than three times in the Premier League, showing that he could be a valuable asset.
Winks could provide another option as cover in the centre of the park for EFC, especially if the likes of Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Andre Gomes find themselves on the side-lines for a sustained period of time.
Gazzaniga could provide some more competition for Jordan Pickford following the arrival of Robin Olsen on loan for the rest of the 2020/21 term from AS Roma, and he has that added top flight experience over the Sweden international.
