Everton: Fans laud Allan update as Toffees close to reaching agreement - Everton

Lots of Everton fans have welcomed the latest update in their transfer pursuit of Allan as Il Mattino (via The Toffee Blues) have reported that the Napoli ace has almost reached an agreement with the Merseyside club over a possible deal.

As per the outlet, there are apparently only a few details left to finalise before the deal is completed, as Allan is set to earn €4.8m (£4.34m) per year over three years, which adds up to €14.4m (£13m) in total.

What year did Moyes first take charge at Everton?

Napoli reportedly want a transfer fee of €40m (£36.16m), so in total the deal would tally €54.4m, which is the equivalent of around £49.18m. The deal will allegedly be done after Saturday August 15, which is not far away at all.

Indeed, this piece of news comes after the Toffees reportedly bid £27m for Allan, but it just seems a case now of Napoli wanting more money.

The 29-year old Brazilian would arguably be an upgrade on the current central midfield players at Carlo Ancelotti’s disposal at Goodison Park, as he averaged more tackles and key passes than Fabian Delph, Tom Davies and Andre Gomes in their respective domestic leagues in the 2019/20 season, according to Whoscored.
