Many Everton fans have been flocking to an update from Alan Myers on Max Aarons.

As per a tweet from the sport news editor, Daniel Farke has denied that Norwich City are in advanced talks with the Goodison Park outfit over the potential sale of the right-back. This is despite Italian football journalist and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano recently claiming the opposite.

Nonetheless, what is for sure is that Aarons would be a welcome addition to the Merseyside club, given that Seamus Coleman is 32 years of age and Carlo Ancelotti's team need to start thinking about buying a long-term successor for the Irishman.

Aarons would certainly fit the bill, and at just 21 years old, the England under-21 international has a lot of potential left to fulfil.
