Plenty of Everton fans have been lauding the latest transfer link to Watford ace Abdoulaye Doucoure as the Daily Mirror have reported that the Merseyside club as well as Arsenal are interested in signing him in the summer window.
This follows the previous news that Carlo Ancelotti’s team had apparently enquired about the possible availability of both Doucoure and fellow Hornets teammate Ismaila Sarr, which was welcomed by several members of the Goodison Park faithful.
Indeed, the £18 million-valued ace played in all but one of the games in the Premier League for the Hertfordshire side in the 2019/20 season, scoring four goals and making a further two assists, according to Transfermarkt.

With WFC being relegated from the top flight, the 27-year old could well be available for a cheaper price, which may interest the Toffees.
These EFC supporters lauded the link to the Frenchman on Twitter, with one Blue even describing him as ‘Gana-esque’, believing that the central midfield player could fill in the void left by Idrissa Gana Gueye, who played in 108 matches in all competitions for them in the middle of the park:
