Many Everton fans have been slamming the suggested interest from Sami Khedira in signing for the Goodison Park faithful.
Speaking to Sky Germany (via Sky Sports) when asked about which managers that he would like to reunite with, the Juventus man said: “There are many coaches, even in the Premier League that I respect a lot. Ancelotti is doing a great job at the moment and is a great personality. He is one of the coaches who impressed me also.”
Indeed, Khedira played in 35 games in all competitions over two consecutive terms under the Italian boss for Real Madrid, scoring one goal and making one assist (Transfermarkt).

Despite his quite overwhelming pedigree in the game, in which he has won both the UEFA Champions League with the Spanish giants as well as the FIFA World Cup in 2014 with Germany (Transfermarkt), fans are not convinced by the comments.
Perhaps it is the fact that he is 33 years of age now or that the Merseyside club have already recruited the likes of Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure as central midfield players in the summer transfer window. Either way, look away now Sami.

Definitely a no on that one. Fellas ageing faster than Iwobi getting binned off in January.

No thanks. We need to stop being seen as a retirement home for ageing players.
