Everton: Fans speculate as Idrissa Gueye comments on Thiago Silva situation

Lots of Everton fans have been speculating as to whether Idrissa Gana Gueye could return to the Merseyside club after he spoke to Canal Football (via The Gwladys Street) about the situation with Thiago Silva at Paris Saint-Germain.
Can Everton finish in the Premier League top six next campaign?
Yes

No

Speaking about his team-mate, the former Toffees ace was full of praise for Silva as he claimed that the central defender “is a very big player, a very big defender who has experience”.
Indeed, the 35-year old has played in 505 club games in all competitions in his career so far with the likes of PSG and AC Milan whilst also recording a staggering 88 caps for the senior Brazilian national side, according to Transfermarkt.
Gueye went on to claim that he would have wanted him to stay and described the centre-back as being “very useful for the team” and added that the French giants need players with the experience that he has to offer, whilst also referring to Silva as “high class”.
Despite his age, the centre-half has demonstrated his class by helping his team collect a relatively impressive eight clean sheets in his 21 matches in Ligue 1 in the 2019/20 season, as per Sofascore.
However, despite ongoing speculation about whether Silva will sign at Goodison Park in the upcoming summer transfer window, several Everton supporters seemed more interested as to whether Gueye himself would be returning.
These Blues fans voiced their speculation on Twitter, given that the Senegalese international spoke so highly of Silva:
