Mohammed Kudus has spoken out about the several Premier League clubs interested in acquiring his services, and how it pushes him to keep improving.
The 19-year-old forward, currently representing Danish side Nordsjaelland, has drawn the attention of three different top flight managers after his impressive season. According to HBVL (via HITC), Everton are amongst the Premier League parties who are monitoring Kudus this term.
Competitors Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle are also interested in the teenager after he registered ten goals across all competitions this campaign. Nine goals came from his influential performances up front in Denmark’s top tier (via Transfermarkt).
Should Everton keep or sell Moise Kean?
Kudus, who has been branded the ‘new Michael Essien’ as he is also capable of playing as a central midfielder, has said the interest from the Premier League sides ‘motivates me to do even better’. Speaking to TipsBladet, the Ghana international said: “There are great expectations for me and it has taught me how important it is to keep your feet on the ground.”
Everton are currently a side under transition as Carlo Ancelotti looks ahead to bringing new personnel to the side in the summer transfer window.
There have been no talks of placing a bid for Kudus but the addition of the 19-year-old could help bolster the Blues next season.
