Many Everton fans have been left buzzing after a transfer update has emerged on Wojciech Szczesny.

As per Tutto Juve, the Goodison Park faithful could make a proposal to sign the Juventus ace, but are willing to offer no more than €10m (£8.7m) to the Serie A side.

Nonetheless, £8.7m for a goalkeeper of that pedigree and experience should certainly be a deal that the Merseyside club should be keeping their eyes on.

Not only is Szczesny playing for one of the biggest and best teams in European football, but he is also very experienced at international level, with no fewer than 52 caps in total for Poland.

Having previously played for Arsenal as well, the 31-year-old would not have to adapt to the Premier League, and could be a worthy addition to Carlo Ancelotti's team to compete with or deputise for Jordan Pickford at a very reasonable cost.
