Everton interested in move for Thorgan Hazard

Everton appear to be enjoying life under Marco Silva as they continue their climb up the Premier League table.

The Toffees recorded a 1-0 victory against Cardiff City at the weekend and put themselves into sixth place in the division, although they are five points off of Arsenal in fifth.

There has been some concern that the Merseyside outfit do not have enough firepower in their squad, again having to rely on the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison to find the goals to win them points.

However, according to a report in Italy, it appears as though the Goodison Park side have their eyes on one man that has been impressing in Germany.

Calciomercato are claiming Everton are taking a keen interest in Thorgan Hazard, who has been enjoying himself at Borussia Monchengladbach this season.

The brother of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, the Belgium international has recorded 11 goals in 14 matches across all competitions, as well as six assists.

The Verdict:

Hazard had a difficult spell at Chelsea before being shipped out to Monchengladbach, however, he has certainly shown what he is capable of.

The Belgian is thought to be keen on giving the Premier League a crack now that he has had a taste of regular top-flight football and would be considered an excellent signing for Everton should he arrive.

However, the Toffees are likely to face some stern competition for him, with the likes of AS Roma also thought to be keen on the forward.
