Everton fans have flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts on Joseph Yobo’s verdict that the Premier League season should be cancelled.
With football being in a state of uncertainty after things were postponed last month, there are some big questions about what the next steps could be over these coming weeks and months.
One option could potentially be to annul the campaign completely, and speaking to ESPN, former Toffees defender Yobo voiced his approval over such a measure – albeit for a very particular reason.

He said: “As an Everton Blue I would prefer that the league is cancelled so that Liverpool don’t win it. That is me speaking as an Evertonian, I don’t want them to win.”
