Everton must go all out to sign Bruno Fernandes

Fernandes

Everton haven’t been at their best in recent times as they continue to struggle in the Premier League, with a European spot looking very distant at this moment in time.

The Toffees have a rather strong squad but Marco Silva has struggled to get his players to gel together, which has had a negative affect on their performances on the field, with defensive mistakes and a lack of goals causing problems.

However, it appears as if the Merseyside club are eyeing a possible summer swoop, as according to The Record (via Sport Witness), Everton would be interested in signing Bruno Fernandes. And, the midfielder is also attracting interest from Atletico Madrid and Liverpool, so it’s clear to see just how highly-rated the Portugal international is.

Bruno Fernandes has established himself as one of the most dangerous attacking midfielders in Europe in the current campaign, having produced an incredible 22 goals and 11 assists. Gylfi Sigurdsson has been rather impressive this season for the Toffees, but Fernandes is on another level to the Iceland international.

Indeed, Fernandes is the type of player who could get Goodison Park rocking, as his passing, creativity and finishing ability makes him very exciting to watch. The Sporting Lisbon man can make something special out of absolutely nothing, which is the kind of quality that the Toffees have been lacking at times this season.

Therefore, Marcel Brands simply must seal what would be an ambitious summer deal for the midfielder as he has shown that he can produce incredible numbers this season, and he still has his best years ahead of him at the age of 24, so he could turn out to be a world star if he continues to develop.
