Everton fans have taken to Twitter to respond to Richarlison’s hilarious dig at Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
What with football being postponed, and everyone having to stay home and safe, people are coming up with unique ways to stay entertained.
And one such Twitter user @Lkenz decided to create a head-to-head competition between players outside of the Premier League’s proverbial big-six. Each team would have a representative to take another on, and it would be left to a poll to decide who wins.

In the end, it came down to a straight battle between Richarlison and Saint-Maximin, and it was the latter who went home with the trophy . That sparked a hilarious exchange between the two, each taking a pot shot at the other, before the Toffees ace struck the decisive blow of an image of him holding a trophy with Brazil.

And after seeing the Brazilian’s response, Everton fans flocked to the replies section to share their thoughts, and many seemed to be absolutely loving what the 22-year-old had to say.
