However, as per the news outlet, the Merseyside club are still yet to make any form of contact with Norwich City to sign the England U21 international.

At 21 years of age, Aarons still has the world at his feet, and if the Blues were able to capture him ahead of the likes of Bayern, Barca and United, it would be quite the coup.
The Mail relayed some comments made by Norwich joint majority shareholder Delia Smith at the FT Business of Football summit, to which she claimed that he is ‘one of the best’ and ‘going to be one of the top footballers’, which is very high praise.
If EFC can pull a deal off, Aarons’ promise and potential could make him one of the signings of the summer.
