Responding to a piece by the Athletic’s Greg O’Keeffe, many Everton supporters have lauded the antics of Tom Davies and Dominic Calvert-Lewin during New York fashion week earlier this month – going on to say that they are ‘refreshing‘.
Davies and Calvert-Lewin, who are ‘friends‘ on and off the pitch, travelled to New York and attended the fashion week in noticeably outlandish style – creating a buzz on social media over their suit choices and pulling themselves apart from the typical winter break getaway.
As pointed out in the Athletic piece, most footballers would presumably flock to the Bahamas or Dubai in search of sun and partying, but the Englishmen instead opted for a slightly different trip – taking to New York in their attention-grabbing suits and prompting many reactions from fans. Now, due to O’Keeffe’s piece surrounding the duo’s antics, supporters have continued to laud the pair with 32 club starts between them this season, as per WhoScored.

They certainly kept us entertained in a blank week and I admire the fact they couldn’t give a monkeys what anybody thinks . I do worry for Tom Davies though that he may have provided more ammo for the online haters who sadly are on his case most of the time .
