Everton: Transfer update emerges claiming Brazilian has had medical

Plenty of Everton fans have reacted to a recent report claiming Gabriel Magalhaes has already completed a medical at the club.

Carlo Ancelotti is approaching his first summer transfer window in charge of Everton and the Italian coach is expected to bring in a number of his own transfer targets.

A number of players have been linked with a move to Goodison Park and one name that has been frequent in those links is that of Brazilian defender Gabriel.

The centre-back currently plays football in the French Ligue 1 for Lille and he has been impressing, helping them keep 12 clean sheets in 24 matches. Whilst Everton are keen on making a move for the 22-year-old, French giants Paris Saint Germain have also been linked.

However, despite interest from PSG, new claims not state that the defender has already completed a medical at Goodison Park.

Sitting 12th in the Premier League as things stand, Ancelotti will be keen to improve his side’s defensive options this summer, and Gabriel could prove to be the perfect signing.

Arena Napoli has claim that a transfer fee and wages have been agreed by Everton and the player’s representatives.
