Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are taking stock at the moment over what has been a rather eventful Championship campaign.
The men from Elland Road, of course, are used to roller-coaster seasons and this one has been no different in terms of the drama involved.
For sure, though, it has been a more upbeat campaign than in recent times under Garry Monk and whilst they did miss out on a play-off place, the feeling is that the club will be back in the Premier League before too long.
It appears, though, that they will have to achieve as such without Charlie Taylor who looks set to leave after refusing to play against Wigan yesterday.
In light of that, then, fans were always going to react and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what was said on Twitter:
A sorry ending to Charlie Taylor’s #lufc career as Garry Monk criticises his “naive” refusal to play at Wigan:https://t.co/ebbCNkeVEopic.twitter.com/GldvBCaC4Y

@AndyPlatt Leeds are entitled to compo, yes. Will either be agreed with the club he joins or decided by tribunal

@PhilHayYEP There are no consequences of his actions. Hes now gone. And he clearly isn’t bothered.

@PhilHayYEP @LukePompey should be ashamed of himself. If he advised CT not to play he should have his licence revoked! Only way to stop this

@PhilHayYEP @RMcgoran This whole story just highlights everything that is wrong in modern day football. #LUFC

@PhilHayYEP I’m glad he’s going he is exactly the type of player we don’t need. We need fighters not quitters.
