Our Sunderland fans here in the Transfer Tavern are pretty happy with how their season has begun this year with them getting five points from three tough games.
Indeed, at the start of the year the club would have felt that games against Derby, Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday would really show where they lie in terms of promotion contenders and so to come out unbeaten is a big plus.
Time, then, for the Black Cats to push on after their 1-1 draw away at Wednesday last night which came courtesy of George Honeyman’s opening goal getting cancelled out later on.
The midfielder, though, was certainly happy with his latest strike this campaign and after posting a simple smiley emoji on Twitter, fans were quick to react.
