Cesc Fabregas was involved in many great battles with Liverpool during his time with Chelsea and Arsenal.
All in all, he has featured 27 times against the Reds, scoring twice and providing six assists. He actually has a positive record versus the European champions, winning 11 times and being on the losing end on just six occasions. Some of those games have been memorable, such as Liverpool’s 4-2 win against the Gunners in the Champions League quarter-final in 2008, as well as the stunning 4-4 draw a year later at Anfield.

Now at Monaco, his career appears to winding down, but one of his latest comments has pleased the Reds supporters. During a Twitter Q&A, he was asked what he thought of the Merseyside club, and he said that he thinks they are an “oustanding” side that is “building something very special” with Jurgen Klopp at the helm.
