Sheffield Wednesday face a difficult end to the season as things on and off the pitch have seemingly turned sour in recent weeks – summed up by their recent return of just one win in nine league games.
Supporters have made their frustrations with the upper management clear, directing criticism at owner Dejphon Chansiri for the decline that has taken place in recent weeks. Pessimism has now taken over a great number of fans who are clearly unhappy – as you can see below – with what they have seen from their team recently, and there is now a complete lack of confidence in the players to turn things around.
The Owls host Reading on Saturday and Royals’ boss Mark Bowen is confident (per the Star) of ending a poor run of seven league games without a win, and Wednesday fans are worryingly in agreement with his belief.
That shows just how bad things are currently and the little faith in Monk that exists, despite his comments that he will fight to turn things around.
Here are some of the responses from Sheffield Wednesday fans to Bowen’s bold prediction.
Well that's stating the obvious !!

Anybody will beat #swfc at the minute. The atmosphere will be toxic Saturday and the attendance will be the lowest its been for years.
