‘You can say that again’ - Fans react after Chelsea man delivers verdict on in-form teammate

Cesc Fabregas was sensational against Middlesbrough on Monday evening, and it appears as though the fans in the Transfer Tavern weren’t alone in their admiration for the midfielder…

Fabregas was, of course, in fine form for the Blues on Monday, coming in for the injured N’Golo Kante on the night. Kante’s injury turned out to be a blessing in disguise, with Fabregas delivering a match-winning performance for his side.

Stellar defensively and offensively, it was a real joy to watch the Spaniard.

However, it seems as though the Chelsea fans weren’t the only people that were impressed with Fabregas’ performance – with Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi also taking to Twitter to praise the display.

The Tweet, which can be seen in full below, shows Batshuayi drawing parallels between Santa Clause and Cesc Fabregas – with the obvious connotation of Fabregas delivering presents for players like Diego Costa in the form of assists.
