Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been discussing another managerial report over an evening pint, which suggested a new club was targeting their under-fire boss.
Turkish outlet Fotomac claim that Fenerbahce are keen to bring Jose Mourinho to the club if he is relieved of his duties at Chelsea, with growing suggestions that a loss this weekend against Liverpool would see the Portuguese manager dismissed.
A move to Turkey for Mourinho would see the former Real Madrid boss lead a talented side and look to get the best out of their summer recruits, which include Dutch international Robin Van Persie and Mourinho’s compatriot Nani.
With Chelsea currently languishing in 15th position in the Premier League, with just three victories and 11 points overall from ten games, the writing is starting to emerge on the wall for last season’s league winner.
The stats stand against Mourinho’s men, with Chelsea fans at the bar well aware that no side has ever finished in the top-four after picking up less than 13 points from their opening ten league matches.
Chelsea fans, is it time to get rid of Mourinho? Let us know in the comments below!
