The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been looking at their goalkeeping options after reading the news in the Yorkshire Evening Post that the club’s move for Birmingham’s David Stockdale could be set to fall through.

According to the report, the Whites want to bring in Stockdale on a loan deal for the season, yet Birmingham aren’t happy with that after initially agreeing to a permanent deal for the experienced Championship star. The deal offered by Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds United would see 32-year-old Stockdale join the club on a 12-month loan, with an option to sign him permanently at the end of next season.
Next season promises to be an interesting one for Leeds United, but they’ll need to have a solid core of players to achieve the promotion that the fans are craving.
That all starts with a goalkeeper, and whilst the fans are confident in Bailey Peacock-Farrell’s abilities, they’ll be hoping the club can bring one more shot-stopper through the door at Elland Road to fight for the number one jersey.
Her’s how some of our resident Leeds fans reacted to the news, with it fair to say that a lot aren’t terribly disappointed by the recent update…

Do we know if Tyler Roberts is featuring this season? Or is he another waste of a signing?
