Tottenham fans everywhere are preparing for their new stadium opening, which will hopefully in turn boost their chances of trophies in the coming years. Whether they can match their star-studded stadium with world-class players is a desire that the fans are desperate to see, in order for the club to push on and be more successful.
Our punters are keen to suggest that Manchester United’s Ander Herrera, who is valued at £27 million on Transfermarkt, would be a strong addition in the heart of midfield who could help both defensively and in attacking play. Having made 39 appearances in total last season, it is a surprise to see United willing to sell the Spaniard. Herrera now only has 1 year left on his current United deal and with the arrival of Fred fast approaching, it seems that the Spaniard will be surplus to requirements as the Red Devils look to streamline their team in order to become as strong as possible for a title push.
Tottenham already have a number of talented midfielders but Herrera would bring a more box-to-box approach to Spurs, with the 28-year-old being able in attacking and defensive styles of play. Herrera is already accustomed to the Premier League, making an even bigger reason as to why Tottenham would be mad not to try and sign him from Man United.
