The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have finally wrapped their heads around the fact that they’ve got Marcelo Bielsa as their new coach although they’re now coming to terms with the size of the task he has ahead of him.

Whilst it’s clear that Bielsa is a huge coup for the club, the fact that the squad simply isn’t very good will have to be addressed at some point. The Argentine gaffer is a great coach, but he isn’t magic and unless he can ship out some of Leeds deadwood and replace them with players that fit the mould that he needs then the fans excitement will be wasted. However, there seem to be a few signings in the works.
The club has been looking at a number of options to bolster the squad, mainly in attack and in goal though. Matej Vydra and Abel Hernandez could be joining the club at one end of the pitch whilst Angus Gunn could be brought in on-loan at the other end. Either way, the fans are still delighted with their new gaffer and will be hoping that with Bielsa in charge good times can be on the horizon.
