After the latest round of fixtures saw the Whites beat Birmingham on Friday and Brighton lose to Nottingham Forest the points gap to the automatic places is just seven points.
That’s nothing really in the Championship, too, and with the men from Elland Road having all the momentum and playing well, they could just leapfrog the Seagulls.
Indeed, our landlord has been impressed with many of the players’ performances at the moment and Garry Monk is coming across that way, too, with what he’s had to say about Rob Green his latest afforded praise:

Green has sometimes come in for ridicule during his career for some high-profile mistakes but that does take away from the fact that he is a very experienced and talented stopper.
He’s been in fine form this season for the club, too, and will surely be called upon between now and May as the Whites hunt down promotion at last to the Premier League.
