Gerrard Should Just Leave, Says Sky Pundit

Tony Gale on Sky Sports News this morning left no-one in any doubt of what he feels the Liverpool Captain ought to do.

‘Gerrard should leave Liverpool. He needs to get out there….he still has a good two or three years left.’

It didn’t need a rocket scientist to establish that Stevie G had a muddled season, but this in my view is a very simplistic view of things. Admittedly, Liverpool fans would have much preferred their captain to have come straight out and say he was ready to fight again in the red jersey as Torres has, but there’s a hell of leap between him not swearing his loyalty and simply moving on.
