Glasgow Rangers: Fans purr over transfer update on Bongani Zungu

Many Glasgow Rangers fans welcomed a transfer update from journalist Joe Crann on Amiens midfielder Bongani Zungu.

As per a report in The Scotsman, which was subsequently shared on Twitter via @YesWeCrann, the ‘Gers have been given the green light to commence talks with the 24-cap South Africa international and are likely to offer the 27-year-old a long-term deal at Ibrox.

The report claimed that the Scottish side would have had to agree to pay approximately €4m (£3.6m) to persuade the Ligue 1 club to sell, with the advancement of the proposed deal into personal talks suggesting that Amiens have accepted the fee that the ‘Gers have apparently offered.
