It was only a few days ago that the discourse amongst the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern was being dominated by talk about young Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The 17-year-old has burst onto the scene this season, even getting a few minutes with the first team, and his form throughout the age groups that he has represented has been simply sensational.
He has proved that once again in the FA Youth Cup, with the Englishman taking a starring role in Chelsea’s quest to get to the final.
In the first leg, the 17-year-old impressed as Chelsea cruised to a 3-0 win, but he took it to the next level on Tuesday evening. On a night when Chelsea bagged four, Hudson-Odoi took two himself, and he was the star of the show.
Delivering fantastic dribbling, technique, passing, and clearly, goals, the Englishman was simply sensational.
Now, the calls from fans requesting him to get a chance in the first team have turned to screams, with Chelsea fans waxing lyrical about his ability over on Twitter.
