The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are concerned about their side’s lack of squad depth…

The Blues have a strong first team, but their lack of quality beyond that is certainly worrying.

Antonio Conte has had to rely on players with little to no experience to make up the bulk of his benches so far this season, with players like Kenedy and Kyle Scott often featuring.

The manager clearly has the players that he rates, and whilst that’s great for them, there are a few players that are yet to really be given a look in by the Italian.

Often these players have struggled to make an immediate impact, but Chelsea’s needs right now are dire, and so Conte would be wise to bring back a few outcasted Chelsea players in an effort to bulk out his squad.

With that said, Chelsea simply must give these 2 outcasts an opportunity to shine…

Baba Rahman

Baba Rahman hasn’t really been given much of a chance at Chelsea, and that’s something that needs to change.

The Blues are lacking depth in his position, and he’s clearly still got a lot of potential.

He’s injured at present, so won’t be available for a while, but Conte needs to have faith in him.

Loic Remy

Likewise, Chelsea also have problems up front – and Remy could be a good option.

He had a disappointing season with Crystal Palace last term, but he’s proven himself to be an excellent option for previous managers.

Chelsea haven’t had much luck with forwards lately, and they ideally need another player to partner Morata and Batshuayi. Remy could be that player.
