‘Give us Martial and we’ll talk,’ ‘We’re £70m up already’ - Spurs, Man Utd fans react to latest big news

Our Tottenham and Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern have a lot to discuss at the moment with the rumours surrounding Eric Dier.

Indeed, The Daily Mail has suggested that the Red Devils are looking at the Spurs midfielder with the England international playing very regularly this season.

However, he’s not actually been that brilliant for Spurs this season with his previous campaign much more impressive and that could be down to the fact that he’s been playing at centre-half.

For sure, it does seem that his best position is in central midfield and with Michael Carrick likely to be retiring in the next couple of years, a replacement is going to be needed.
