Calvin Bassey is one of the new signings for Glasgow Rangers following the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
The 20-year-old has made the move to Ibrox along with Ianis Hagi and Jon McLaughlin, costing £230,000 in compensation from Leicester, and he will be hoping to make a big impact with the ‘Gers in what promises to be a crucial campaign for the 54-time Scottish champions as they look to win their first major trophy since 2011.
Bassey has never made a senior appearance in his career but he is clearly not lacking in confidence and is obviously looking forward to the challenge ahead. In an interview with respected Rangers website Four Lads had a Dream, Bassey said that he is ready to “die” for the ‘Gers shirt.
