Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to Alfredo Morelos double

Glasgow Rangers continued their positive start to the Premiership season on Sunday as they beat St. Mirren 3-0 at Ibrox.

The Gers prevailed in their first game away at Aberdeen 1-0, but this was a far more convincing performance from Steven Gerrard’s side. As it stands, the 54-time Scottish champions are second in the table, and are already two points clear of their fierce city rivals Celtic after two matches.

Gerrard has Alfredo Morelos to thank for this victory, as the Colombia international scored twice after an own goal had put his side ahead. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Gers, with him reportedly agreeing personal terms with Ligue 1 side Lille, but despite those distractions, he is still focusing on the task at hand with his current employers.
