For the third consecutive year, Glasgow Rangers are in the Europa League Group Stage after beating Galatasaray 2-1 at Ibrox.
The Gers got to the play-off round after dispatching Lincoln Red Imps and Willem II, but they will have expected a more difficult clash against the Turkish giants. In the end, though, they were able to make it through with relative ease, with them controlling the game until Gala reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the final few minutes of the match.

Scott Arfield played a big role in the result. It was his goal that set the Gers on their way to the fantastic win, with him putting the ball into the net with the outside of his foot following a clever pass from Ianis Hagi, and he now has three goals and three assists in his last six matches in all competitions.
