Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to Ewan Murray tweet

Glasgow Rangers have had a good start to their Premiership campaign.

The Gers have won three and drawn one of their first four matches in the league, and they have not even conceded a goal. 3-0 victories against both St. Johnstone and St. Mirren were the clear high points so far, and the Ibrox outfit have even managed to open up a six-point gap up over Celtic.

Of course, that has only been possible due to the fact that the Bhoys have played two less games than the Gers – their last two fixtures have been postponed after Boli Bolingoli broke lockdown and quarantine regulations. The breach even led to Nicola Sturgeon threatening to pause the season if there were any more issues.

In response, SPFL chief Neil Doncaster has begged Sturgeon not to postpone any more games as it could have a detrimental effect on the finances of clubs north of the border. Journalist Ewan Murray has tweeted about Doncaster’s alleged stance, and he has suggested that had the latter done his job better in other areas, there wouldn’t be such an issue.

This has attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, and they have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts – they appear to have taken to the opportunity to criticise Doncaster, with whom they have had problems in the past.
