Glasgow Rangers: Fans rage at Sky Sports interview

Glasgow Rangers have had a very promising start to their Premiership campaign.

The Gers are already top of the table after just three matches as they have picked up maximum points from those matches. That comes after victories against Aberdeen, St. Mirren and St. Johnstone who they beat 1-0, 3-0 and 3-0 respectively.

However, across the whole country, the season has already been doused in controversy. Aberdeen players and Boli Bolingoli of Celtic have breached pandemic regulations, meaning that both sides’ next two matches have been postponed, and Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has even threatened to pause the term if the situation worsens.

On Thursday, Sky Sports conducted an interview with Falkirk boss Lee Miller about the negative impact this could have on sides below the Premiership and, for some reason, the conversation was recorded outside Ibrox despite the Gers not actually being involved in the recent issues.

The Gers were far from happy with this – one fan even called it “utterly pathetic journalism” – as it makes it look like the Gers are involved with the breaching of rules, which they are not.
