Glasgow Rangers: Fans rage as document emerges

Glasgow Rangers have made a brilliant start to the this 2020/21 campaign.

As is stands, the Gers are top of the Premiership table, having won five of their first six matches whilst not even conceding a goal in the process. Not only that, they are now six points clear of their city rivals Celtic, although the Bhoys do have two games in hand to draw level.

This, though, only comes after the farcical end to the previous campaign. The season was suspended due to the pandemic, and was eventually ended prematurely – being one of the few top-tier divisions in Europe to take that path. The Ibrox outfit were adamant that the term could be finished on the pitch, but they appeared to be one of the few that shared that opinion.

SPFL chief Neil Doncaster said that the government forced him to end the season earlier, but a letter from the Scottish minister for Public Health, Sport and Wellbeing Joe Fitzpatrick to Doncaster appears to contradict that claim.

This has attracted the attention of the Gers supporters, and it seems they are livid that Doncaster has lied to them. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
