Glasgow Rangers have had a fantastic start to the new Premiership campaign, and they have their sturdy defence to thank for it.
The Gers are currently top of the Premiership table, having won six and drawn one of their first seven matches – the latest result was a 4-0 hammering of Dundee United. They are currently six points clear of their fierce city rivals Celtic, but perhaps the most impressive aspect so far is that they have failed to concede a goal.

They actually broke a 114-year Scottish record for the most clean sheets in a row at the start of the season with that result versus the Tangerines, and they will be hoping they continue to keep out their opponents in the coming weeks, as well.

To congratulate the Gers, the SPFL’s official Twitter account decided to post about the impressive achievement, and as you can imagine, this attracted the attention of the Gers supporters. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below.

Another record for the famous. Let the others come after us. We welcome the chase. It is healthy for us. We will never hide from it.
