Glasgow Rangers: Fans want Kemar Roofe at Ibrox

Glasgow Rangers are reportedly looking at trying to sign Kemar Roofe from Anderlecht.

The 27-year-old made the switch to Belgium last summer for £5.4m, and he has since done relatively well since making the move, scoring seven goals in his first 16 games for the club. Injuries have hampered him a little, but he has still proven his worth.

The Gers are said to have made a bid to sign him, first on loan with an option to buy, but this is said to have been rejected by Anderlecht (Het Laatste Nieuws via Anderlecht Online). It remains to be seen whether the 54-time Scottish champions make another move for the forward.

The club’s supporters have been discussing the interest in Roofe, and on the whole, it seems that they would rather like him to sign for their side. One fan suggested that they hope the Gers can pay what Anderlect want whilst another speculated that interest in the ex-Leeds man may mean that fellow striker Alfredo Morelos will leave Ibrox.
