Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to Bongani Zungu’s Instagram post

There are just a few days for Glasgow Rangers to complete their transfer business before the deadline slams shut on October 5th.

The Gers have been busy during this transfer window, already bringing in Ianis Hagi, Calvin Bassey, Jon McLaughlin, Leon Balogun, Cedric Itten and Kemar Roofe. However, Steven Gerrard has confirmed that he is looking for a new midfielder, although the result of the match against Galatasaray may decide whether he is able to do just that.

The Ibrox outfit have been linked with a number of midfielders, one of which is Bongani Zungu. The Gers have been in pursuit for a while, with him even said to be in advanced talks with the club, but that speculation has gone quiet in recent weeks. Amiens are believed to be holding out for €4m (£3.6m) for his services.

However, the rumours have started up again more recently. The Scotsman reported that the deal is still alive, and the South Africa international has published a photo of Instagram of his teammates saying he will miss them.
