According to Graphic Sports Online (via The Boot Room), Steven Gerrard has received “positive reports” from Brendan Rodgers and Kolo Toure in regards to Glasgow Rangers target Dennis Gyamfi.
The Gers are said to be interested in the right-back, who has already been promoted to Leicester City’s first team squad.

Here, it says that Gerrard has heard positive things about the 18-year-old from Rodgers and Toure, both of whom he knows from his time at Liverpool.
This is obviously good news for the Gers and Gerrard – after all, Rodgers and Toure will know the player the best, having coached him, and so they will be able to advise whether he would be worth taking north of the border. They also know their talent – Rodgers won two Scottish Premiership titles with Celtic, whilst Kolo Toure won 118 caps for the Ivory Coast. There may be questions asked that, if he is that good, why would he be recommended to the former Reds captain, but the Foxes already have plenty of options at right-back in Ricardo Pereira and James Justin.

The Ibrox outfit are not the only side interested in the full-back, though – Arsenal are also said to be in pursuit, which is a big obstacle for the Gers’ attempts to sign him. However, with previous comparisons to Manchester United man Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the teenager could be a fantastic long-term addition for the 54-time Scottish champions. It is worth them making their move.
