Glasgow Rangers: Fans rage at time change

Glasgow Rangers played their latest friendly match on Wednesday night as they hosted Motherwell at Ibrox.

The Gers had already faced Lyon, Nice and Hamilton, winning all three matches, before this clash against their Scottish rivals. And Steven Gerrard will have been happy with what he saw as his side won 4-0 thanks to goals from Ryan Kent, Ianis Hagi, Joe Aribo and an own goal.

However, there was a point when there was a worry the match may not have even started at all. The fixture was set to kick-off at 6 p.m, but a delay in the return of the medical tests meant that the game had to be pushed back until 8 p.m as a result.

This was announced by the Ibrox outfit on Twitter, and it is fair to say that the club’s supporters were far from happy – especially as just 15 minutes notice were given before it was scheduled to begin. The fans took to the social media platform to share their displeasure – one even called it “shambolic” – and you can see some of the best comments below.
