Glasgow Rangers: Unnamed club in negotiations for Florian Kamberi

According to Edinburgh Live, an unnamed club are working on a deal for Glasgow Rangers target Florian Kamberi.

Kamberi reportedly wants a return to Ibrox following his loan spell last term, but only as long as it is a permanent deal. However, the ‘Gers have only made another loan offer so far.

As such, it is being reported that Hibernian are working on a permanent deal with another (as yet unnamed) club.

If the ‘Gers really want to sign Kamberi, then this is bad news for them and it shows that they really need to make a strong move for the 25-year-old. No matter how much Kamberi wants to join the Ibrox outfit permanently, if the 54-time Scottish champions aren’t willing to pay for his services and show strong interest in him, then he will be forced to look elsewhere for a new club.

Hibs manager Jack Ross has already said that it would be “challenging” for Kamberi to re-enter the fold at Easter Road, so it very much seems like he will be on the move this summer – as such, it appears to be a now-or-never situation for Steven Gerrard, Ross Wilson and co at Ibrox. If they truly do want him, it is time for them to swoop before somebody else does.

‘Gers fans, should the club sign Kamberi on a permanent deal? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
