Glasgow Rangers have had some magnificent players down the years, but few can compare to Brian Laudrup.
The Denmark international had already had an illustrious career by the time he rocked up at Ibrox in 1994, having appeared for the likes of Bayern Munich and AC Milan whilst also helping his country win the 1992 European Championships.

He signed for £2.5m, and was as good, if not better with the 54-time Scottish champions than he had been anywhere else. He would play over 100 times in the Scottish Premiership, scoring over 30 goals, and in terms of silverware, it proved to be a rather lucrative time, with him winning the league title on three separate occasions, as well as one Scottish Cup and one Scottish League Cup.

As part of their Goal of the Day feature, the Gers have taken the opportunity to share one of Laudrup’s strikes against Celtic, and it appears to have gone down fantastically with the supporters. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, with one labelling him a ‘hero’.

What an excellent player Laudrup was. Spoiled for years with the big name stars at Ibrox. Hopefully we can get back to winning ways 20/21 season. Bring the title home Gerrard and take your place in the clubs rich history https://t.co/0uPRLPi5xt

How good was Laudrup and Robertson together. Nobody could look near them. We will never see the likes again.
