Peter Lovenkrands has written himself into Glasgow Rangers’ history with his performances for the club down the years.
The former Denmark international signed for the Gers in 2000, and went on to spend six years at the club before departing in 2006. He made over 180 appearances for the club during that time, scoring 54 goals, and he became a true cult hero when he scored an injury time winner against Celtic in the Scottish Cup final in 2002.

After spells at Schalke 04, Newcastle United and Birmingham City, the 40-year-old returned to Ibrox to take up a coaching role at the club’s academy following his retirement. That was in 2017, and it has now been confirmed that he will be leaving to pursue his career elsewhere.
