Glasgow Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos has already hit the ground running this season.
On Sunday, he scored twice against St Mirren as the Ibrox outfit won 3-0, already their second league win of the campaign. His overall tally with the 54-time Scottish champions now stands at 79 goals in 140 matches – he has been an inspiration ever since he signed in 2017.

However, his future with Steven Gerrard’s side remains uncertain – there continues to be plenty of speculation linking him with a move away from Scotland, and it appears that Lille is the likeliest destination. He is already said to have agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 side and it has now emerged that the ‘Gers have rejected a bid worth €15m (£13.5m) for his services.
